Olympic National Park

A hydrangea flower to start things off
Here's the view from the Lake Quinault Lodge nestled in the Olympic National Park.
Here's my mom, Kathleen Svendsen, in front of the lodge.

The Olympic Peninsula's one of the few places were you have to worry about trees growing on the roof...

This is where the steelheading magic happened last year with my brother on the Bogachiel River...
Mom on the Bogachiel River trail just before we entered the Olympic National Park
Some serious ferns at times along the trail.

One of the bigger trees we saw - looked like a spruce.
Nice A frame on the coast.
More from the Bogachiel River trail.

The "Big Cedar" tree near Ruby Beach.
Kathleen "K2" Svendsen in action!
Pacific Beach (just south of Moclips).
Mom in her element.

S is for sand dollar?? I didn't know shellfish could write.
